How to edit individual listing details?

You can update your listing anytime to keep it accurate and attractive to guests. However, all edits go through a quick review process by the Spare Space team before being made live again.

How to Edit Your Listing
- Log in to your Spare Space host account.
- Go to the My Listings section from your dashboard.
- Find the listing you want to update and click Edit Listing.
- You can now update any section of the listing form: Photos: Add, remove, or reorder images (max 10 MB per image). You can also highlight one image as your cover photo. Details: Update your title, detailed description, or neighborhood info. Location: Adjust or refine your address or map pin for better guest visibility. Rules: Edit your custom host rules or booking guidelines. Pricing: Adjust hourly rate, minimum hours, or attendee-based pricing. Cancellation Policy: Select or update your refund policy (Flexible, Moderate, or Strict). Amenities: Add or remove items guests can use.
- Once done, click Save Changes to submit your updates for review.
After You Submit Edits
Once submitted, your listing will move to “Pending Review” status.
The Spare Space team will review your changes for accuracy and compliance.
After approval, your updated listing will go live again — usually within 24 - 48 hours.
You’ll receive an email notification once the changes are approved and live.
FAQs
Can I edit my listing after it goes live?
Yes, you can edit it anytime. However, updates must first be reviewed and approved by our backend team before the revised listing becomes visible again.
Will my listing remain visible during review?
Your current (old) listing remains visible to guests while the updated version is under review. Once approved, the new version replaces it automatically.
