How to edit listing photos and photo requirements?

High-quality photos help guests visualize your space and imagine how they can use it. Listings with 10 or more well-shot photos tend to attract more views and bookings.
It’s equally important that your photos meet our quality standards - listings that don’t meet these requirements may face delays in going live.
How to Edit Listing Photos
You can edit photos anytime from your desktop web dashboard (this feature is not yet available on the mobile app).
1. Go to My Listings in your Spare Space account.
2. Select Edit Listing next to the space you’d like to update.
3. Scroll to the Photos section in the listing form.
4. Click “+ Add Photo” to upload new images, or click the “X” on any image to remove it.
5. Drag and drop photos to reorder them as you like.
6. You can highlight one image to make it your cover photo - this will be the main image guests see first on your listing card and search results.
7. Click Save Changes when you’re done.
Note: Each photo must be under 10 MB in size.
Photo Guidelines
To ensure your listing gets approved quickly, please make sure your photos:
1. Are well-lit, clear, and properly framed.
2. Accurately represent your real space (no stock or unrelated images).
3. Show key features, amenities, layout, and possible activities.
4. Do not include watermarks, business logos, or contact information.
5. Are not screenshots, blurry, distorted, cluttered, or unsanitary.
