What do i do if a booking results in damage to my space?

If any damage occurs to your space or property during a booking, it is to be resolved directly between you (the host) and the guest.
At the moment, Spare Space does not cover or insure hosts for any damages.
We recommend that:
You and the guest inspect and document the condition of the space both before and after the booking (photos or short videos work best).
If you wish to collect a security deposit, please discuss and agree on it directly with the guest after the booking has been confirmed. This should be handled mutually and transparently between both parties.
If any damages occur, communicate directly with the guest to settle the issue fairly.
In case of a dispute or if you need help documenting the incident, please contact our support team at support@booksparespace.com with your booking details and photos of the damage.
We’re here to assist with guidance, but the resolution and reimbursement remain between the host and guest.
