What happens when i receive a booking request?

When a guest sends you a booking request, you’ll receive an email notification with the booking details and expected payout amount.
From the time you receive the request, you’ll have 24 hours to either accept or decline it directly from your Spare Space host dashboard.
- Accepting a request sends a payment link to the guest. Once the guest completes the payment, the booking is confirmed.
- Declining a request simply closes that request, and the guest will be notified.
If no action is taken within 24 hours, the request will expire automatically. Tip: Always respond to booking requests promptly — expired requests can negatively affect your response rate and listing visibility.
