The Spare Space service fee is a flat 10% commission deducted from the host’s payout on each confirmed booking. This fee applies to the total booking amount. Listing your space on Spare Space is completely free, and there are no membership or setup fees.

When a guest sends a booking request, you’ll be able to review all booking details — including date, duration, number of attendees, and intended activity — before accepting or declining it. The booking summary will clearly show the total booking amount, Spare Space service fee, and your expected payout.
Accepting a booking confirms it and charges the guest. Hosts are encouraged to review the full Cancellation and Refund Policy before confirming any booking.
