Below are a few key principles that govern the types of user-generated content allowed on Spare Space, including listings, reviews, and communication on the platform.

1. Relevance
   All content you share — whether in listings, messages, or reviews — should be relevant, helpful, and appropriate for the Spare Space community.
2. Inappropriate content
   We do not allow any content that includes or promotes: Illegal or harmful activity Threats, harassment, hate speech, or discrimination Lewd or explicit material Violence or bigotry in any form
3. Honest reviews
   Reviews should reflect your genuine, first-hand experience during a booking. Constructive feedback helps other users make informed decisions. Please avoid: Posting false, exaggerated, or retaliatory reviews Using reviews to demand discounts or incentives Threatening negative reviews to gain favors
4. Accurate listings and information
   All listings must truthfully represent the space, including details, pricing, and rules. If a space changes — for example, furniture layout or features — hosts are responsible for updating photos and descriptions to ensure accuracy. Any fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive listings may be removed.
5. Privacy
   Respect privacy at all times. Do not share or post personal or business information — such as addresses, phone numbers, or close-up photos of other users — without consent.
6. Missed expectations
   If there’s a dispute or issue with your booking, it should be resolved directly between host and guest or by contacting support@booksparespace.com. The review section is not a place for dispute resolution or referencing any ongoing investigation.

Spare Space reserves the right to remove any content or user that violates these guidelines to maintain a trusted and secure community for all.
