What is the Spare Space Platform fee for guests?

Spare Space charges guests a flat 5% service fee to help cover platform operations, secure payment processing, customer support, and other related services.

This fee is:

1. Calculated on the base hourly price of the host’s listing.
2. Subject to 18% GST, applied on the total service and booking amount.

You’ll see the exact processing fee clearly displayed on the booking review page before confirming your booking, and it will also appear on your invoice after payment.


What Happens to the Processing Fee if a Booking is Cancelled?

The refund of the processing fee follows the same refund policy as your booking:

1. 50% Refund Policy → 50% of the processing fee is refunded.
2. Fully Refundable Booking → The processing fee is refunded in full.
3. Non-Refundable Booking → The processing fee is not refunded.
